³⁵ It shall be on Aaron ^[a]when he ministers; and its sound shall be heard when he enters and leaves the Holy Place before the Lord, so that he will not die.

⁴³ And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

²⁰ when they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, so that they do not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, by offering up in smoke a fire sacrifice to the Lord.

²¹ So they shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they do not die; and ^(A)it shall be a permanent statute for them, for ^[a]Aaron and his ^[b]descendants throughout their generations.”
