Sirach 39:7-9

Good News Translation

⁷ He will have knowledge to share and good advice to give, as well as insight into the Lord's secrets. ⁸ He will demonstrate his learning in what he teaches,^[a] and his pride will be in the Lord's Law and covenant. ⁹ He will be widely praised for his wisdom, and it will never be lost, because people for generations to come will remember him.
