Psalm 52:7-9
New King James Version
7 “Here is the man who did not make God his strength,
But trusted in the abundance of his riches,
And strengthened himself in his [a]wickedness.”
8 But I am (A)like a green olive tree in the house of God;
I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
9 I will praise You forever,
Because You have done it;
And in the presence of Your saints
I will wait on Your name, for it [b]is good.

7 “See the man who would not make
God his refuge,
but (A)trusted in the abundance of his riches
and sought refuge in his own destruction!”[a]
8 But I am like (B)a green olive tree
in the house of God.
I trust in the steadfast love of God
forever and ever.
9 I will thank you forever,
because you have done it.
I will wait for your name, (C)for it is good,
in the presence of the (D)godly.
