Proverbs 29:6-8

⁶ An evil man is ensnared by his transgression. But the righteous sings and rejoices.

⁷ The righteous know the cause of the poor. The wicked do not discern knowledge.

⁸ Scoffers ensnare a city. But wise men turn away wrath.
