Proverbs 19:17-19

¹⁷ He who has mercy upon the poor, lends to the LORD. And the LORD will repay him that which he has given.

¹⁸ Chasten your son while there is hope. And do not let your soul seek his death.

¹⁹ A man of much anger shall suffer punishment. And though you save him, you must do so yet again.
