Proverbs 16:4-6

⁴ The LORD has made all things for His own sake. Indeed, even the wicked for the day of evil.

⁵ All who are proud in heart are an abomination to the LORD. Though each join hand in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

⁶ By mercy and truth, iniquity shall be forgiven. And by the fear of the LORD, they depart from evil.
