Proverbs 14:26-28

²⁶ Rock-solid security is found^[a] in the fear of the Lord,
    and within it one’s children find refuge.
²⁷ The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
    enabling anyone to escape the snares of death.

²⁸ A large population is a king’s glory,
    but a shortage of people is a ruler’s ruin.
