Matye 16
Nouvo Testaman: Vèsyon Kreyòl Fasil
Kèk moun gen dout sou otorite Jezi
(Mak 8:11-13; Lik 12:54-56)
16 Farizyen yo ak Sadiseyen yo te pwoche bò kote Jezi, yo te vle pase Jezi yon tès. Yo mande li pou l fè yon mirak ki bay prèv Bondye avè l.
2 Jezi reponn yo: “Si nou wè syèl la tou wouj lè solèy pral kouche, nou di l ap fè bon tan. 3 Nan maten, si nou wè syèl la yon jan sonb, nou di jodi a l ap fè lapli. Nou ka gade syèl la epi nou konnen ki tan li pral fè. Poutan, nou pa menm rive konprann siy ki gen rapò ak nou menm jodi a. 4 Se sèlman moun ki mechan ak moun ki plen peche k ap mande Bondye mirak. Men yo p ap jwenn lòt mirak eksepte mirak pwofèt Jonas[a] la y a jwenn.” Apre sa Jezi vire do li, l ale fè wout li.
Disip Jezi yo mal konprann li
(Mak 8:14-21)
5 Jezi travèse lak la avèk disip li yo. Yo te bliye pote pen. 6 Apre sa Jezi di yo: “Fè atansyon ak ledven Farizyen ak Sadiseyen yo.”
7 Yo te kòmanse ap fè diskisyon ant yo. Youn t ap di lòt: “Se poutèt nou pa pote pen ki fè l ap di sa.”
8 Jezi te konnen sou kisa disip yo t ap pale.
(Mak 8:27-30; Lik 9:18-21)
13 Lè Jezi rive nan zòn Sezare Filip, li poze disip li yo yon kesyon: “Ki lès nou tande yo di mwen ye, mwen menm Pitit Lòm nan?”
16 Simon Pyè reponn: “Ou se Kris la, Pitit Bondye vivan an!”
Enben se sou wòk sa a mwen pral bati legliz mwen an. Menm puisans lanmò[c] p ap ka gen viktwa sou li. 19 M ap remèt ou kle wayòm Bondye a. Bondye nan syèl la ap bay apwobasyon li lè w refize oswa pèmèt yon bagay fèt sou latè.”
20 Apre sa, Jezi di disip li yo pou yo pa di moun se li menm ki Kris la.
Jezi di li gen pou l mouri
(Mak 8:31–9:1; Lik 9:22-27)
21 Depi menm lè a, Jezi kòmanse eksplike disip yo li gen pou l monte Jerizalèm. Li gen pou l soufri anpil bagay. Ansyen yo ki nan tèt pèp Jwif la, sakrifikatè yo ansanm ak eskrib yo gen pou meprize l epi touye l. Men sou twa jou l ap leve vivan ankò. 22 Pyè pran Jezi sou kote pou l rale zòrèy li. Li di li: “Bondye nan syèl la p ap janm pèmèt yon bagay konsa rive!”
23 Jezi fè yon vire sou Pyè, epi l di l: “Rale kò w sou mwen, Satan![d] Pa sèvi obstak devan m! Lide nan tèt ou pa gen anyen pou wè ak volonte Bondye, yo plis sou sa lèzòm ta vle.”
24 Apre sa, Jezi di disip li yo: “Si yon moun vle swiv mwen, fòk li bliye pwòp tèt li, fòk li pote kwa l epi swiv mwen. 25 Nenpòt moun ki vle konsève lavi l kèlkeswa kondisyon an, l ap gen pou pèdi lavi l. Men nenpòt moun ki pèdi lavi l poutèt mwen l ap gen pou jwenn vrè lavi a. 26 Ki sa li t ap itil yon nonm pou l ta gen lemonn antye, si l ap pèdi pwòp lavi l? Kisa yon moun ka bay an echanj pou lavi li. 27 Pitit Lòm nan gen pou l retounen ak tout pouvwa Papa a, ansanm ak anj yo. Lè sa a, l ap bay chak moun sa yo merite, selon sa yo te fè. 28 Nou mèt kwè m lè m di nou: kèk nan nou ki la jodi a va wè Pitit Lòm nan lè l ap vini kòm chèf nan wayòm li a.”
Footnotes
- 16:4 Jonas Yon pwofèt nan Ansyen Testaman an. Apre l fin pase twa jou anndan yon gwo pwason, li soti deyò vivan. Lè sa a, li pati ale nan lavil Niniv pou l te pote yon avètisman Bondye te ba li pou bay yo. Menm jan an tou, Jezi te gen pou l soti nan tonbo a vivan nan twazyèm jou a, sete you siy pou pwouve mesaje li te soti vrèman vre de Bondye.
Bondye te bay Abraram ak Sara nouvo non epi li fè lwanj pou yo kòm egzanp lafwa pou pitit pitit yo. Menm jan an tou, Jezi bay Pyè yon lòt non (gade nan Mak 3:16) epi li fè lwanj pou l pou gwo pawòl lafwa sa a.
- 16:18 puisans lanmò Literalman, “pòt Lanfè”.
- 16:23 Satan Se yon non ki vle di “lènmi”. Jezi vle di Pye ap pale menm jan ak Satan.
Matthew 16
New International Version
The Demand for a Sign(A)
16 The Pharisees and Sadducees(B) came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.(C)
2 He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a](D) 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.”(E) Jesus then left them and went away.
The Yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees
5 When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread. 6 “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”(F)
7 They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”
8 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith,(G) why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? 9 Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?(H) 10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?(I) 11 How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.(J)
Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah(K)
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist;(L) others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”(M)
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”(N)
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood,(O) but by my Father in heaven.(P) 18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[b](Q) and on this rock I will build my church,(R) and the gates of Hades[c] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys(S) of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[d] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[e] loosed in heaven.”(T) 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone(U) that he was the Messiah.
Jesus Predicts His Death(V)
21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem(W) and suffer many things(X) at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law,(Y) and that he must be killed(Z) and on the third day(AA) be raised to life.(AB)
22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”
23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan!(AC) You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.(AD) 25 For whoever wants to save their life[f] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.(AE) 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man(AF) is going to come(AG) in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.(AH)
28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
