³⁶ I tell you that on the day of judgment^(A) people will have to account^(B) for every careless^[a] word they speak.^[b]

¹⁴ The sower sows^(A) the word.^(B)

⁴⁷ I will show you what someone is like who comes to me, hears my words, and acts on them:^(A)

²¹ But he replied to them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear and do the word of God.”^(A)

Prologue

1 In the beginning^(A) was the Word,^(B) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.^(C)

²² So when he was raised from the dead,^(A) his disciples remembered that he had said this,^(B) and they believed the Scripture^(C) and the statement Jesus had made.
