Gubernur Pilatus memeriksa Yesus
(Mat 27:1-2, 11-14; Luk 23:1-5; Yoh 18:28-38)
15 Pagi-pagi sekali, Para imam kepala, pemimpin Yahudi dan guru Taurat, serta seluruh anggota Mahkamah Agama membuat keputusan mengenai Yesus. Mereka mengikat Dia, lalu membawa dan menyerahkan-Nya kepada Gubernur Pilatus.
2 Pilatus bertanya kepada Yesus, “Apakah Engkau Raja orang Yahudi?”
Jawab Yesus kepadanya, “Ya, engkau bisa bilang begitu.”
3 Para imam kepala menuduh banyak hal terhadap Yesus. 4 Lalu Pilatus bertanya lagi kepada-Nya, “Lihatlah, betapa banyaknya tuduhan mereka terhadap-Mu. Mengapa Engkau tidak mau menjawab?”
5 Tetapi Yesus tetap tidak menjawab sehingga Pilatus benar-benar heran.

15 And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, Thou sayest it.
3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.
5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
