16 Nan dimanch maten, Mari, moun Magdala a, avèk Mari, manman Jak epi Salome, yo te achte luil santi bon pou t al anbome kò Jezi. 2 Byen bonè, nan dimanch maten sa a, apèn solèy la t ap leve, medam yo vini nan kavo. 3 Epi yo t ap mande tèt yo: “kilès ki pral woule wòch sa a pou nou devan bouch kavo a?”
4 Lè yo leve tèt yo gade, yo wè wòch la te gen tan woule. Se te yon kokenn chenn wòch. 5 Lè yo antre nan kavo a, yo wè yon jèn gason toudeblan chita sou bò dwat la. Medam yo te sezi anpil.
6 Men, jèn gason di yo: “Nou pa bezwen pè. N ap chache Jezi, moun Nazarèt la yo te klouwe sou kwa a. Li resisite. Li pa isit la. Vin wè kote kadav la te yo te mete l la.” 7 Apre sa kouri vit al di disip li yo ansanm ak Pyè: “Li pran devan, l al tann nou Galile, se la n a wè li, jan li te di nou an.”
8 Medam yo fè yon sèl voltije sòti nan kavo a, yo t ap tranble tèlman yo te sezi. Yo pa di pèsonn moun anyen, paske yo te pè.[a]

9 Apre Jezi te fin resisite byen bonè nan dimanch maten an, li parèt anpremye devan Mari, moun Magdala a. Se sou li Jezi te chase sèt demon. 10 Mari menm al anonse lòt disip Jezi yo nouvèl la, yo menm ki te andèy epi ki t ap krye kriye. 11 Lè yo tande Jezi vivan epi Mari te wè l, disip yo te refize kwè sa.
12 Apre sa, Jezi parèt sou yon lòt fòm devan de nan disip li yo ki t apral andeyò. 13 De disip sa yo retounen al di lòt disip yo sa ki te rive, men lòt disip yo toujou pa kwè.

14 Nan pita, li parèt devan onz apot yo pandan yo t ap manje. Li repwoche yo poutèt yo te refize kwè. Tèt yo te di epi yo refize kwè moun ki te di yo Jezi te resisite.
15 Li di yo: “Ale tout kote nan lemonn antye preche tout moun Bòn Nouvèl la. 16 Nenpòt ki kwè epi ki batize va sove, men moun ki pa kwè ap kondane. 17 Men siy ki ap akonpanye moun ki kwè yo: Y ap sèvi ak non mwen pou chase demon, y ap pale nan lang yo pa janm aprann. 18 Y ap kenbe koulèv ak men yo epi si yo bwè pwazon yo p ap gen anyen. Y ap mete men sou moun malad epi malad yo va geri.”

19 Apre li fin pale ak yo, Jezi Senyè a monte nan syèl epi li chita adwat Bondye. 20 Apot yo ale epi yo preche toupatou. Senyè a te avèk yo. Li t ap konfime mesaj yo t ap preche a avèk mirak ki te akonpanye yo.

Jesus Has Risen(A)
16 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices(B) so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3 and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”(C)
4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe(D) sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene,(E) who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him,(F) just as he told you.’”(G)
8 Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.[a]

9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene,(H) out of whom he had driven seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. 11 When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.(I)
12 Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country.(J) 13 These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.
14 Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.(K)
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.(L) 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.(M) 17 And these signs(N) will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;(O) they will speak in new tongues;(P) 18 they will pick up snakes(Q) with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on(R) sick people, and they will get well.”
19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven(S) and he sat at the right hand of God.(T) 20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs(U) that accompanied it.

- Mark 16:8 Some manuscripts have the following ending between verses 8 and 9, and one manuscript has it after verse 8 (omitting verses 9-20): Then they quickly reported all these instructions to those around Peter. After this, Jesus himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. Amen.
