Luke 9:41-43

⁴¹ Jesus replied, “You unbelieving and perverse^[a] generation,^(A) how long will I be with you and put up with you?^(B) Bring your son here.”

⁴² As the boy was still approaching, the demon knocked him down and threw him into severe convulsions. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy,^(C) and gave him back to his father.^{(D) 43} And they were all astonished at the greatness of God.^(E)

While everyone was amazed at all the things he was doing,^(F) he told his disciples,
