²¹ You shall not give any of your offspring to sacrifice them^[a] to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

² Say further to the people of Israel:

Any of the people of Israel, or of the aliens who reside in Israel, who give any of their offspring to Molech shall be put to death; the people of the land shall stone them to death.

¹⁰ No one shall be found among you who makes a son or daughter pass through fire, or who practises divination, or is a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer,
