Joshua 10:24-26

²⁴ And when they had brought out those kings to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chief of the men of war who went with him, “Come near. Set your feet upon the necks of these kings.” And they came near and set their feet upon their necks.

²⁵ And Joshua said to them, “Do not fear or be dismayed. Be strong and of good courage. For thus will the LORD do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

²⁶ So then Joshua struck them, and killed them, and hanged them on five trees. And they hung still upon the trees until the evening.
