Job 2:10-12

¹⁰ But he said to her, “You speak like a foolish woman. What? Shall we receive good from the Hand of God, and not receive misery?” In all this, Job did not sin with his lips.

¹¹ Now, when Job’s three friends heard of all this calamity that had come upon him, they came, everyone from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite. For they had agreed together to come to lament with him, and to comfort him.

¹² So, when they lifted up their eyes from far off, they did not know him. Therefore, they lifted up their voices and wept. And every one of them tore his garment and sprinkled dust upon his head, toward the sky.
