Hosea 5:7-9

⁷They betrayed the Lord;^(A)
indeed, they gave birth to illegitimate children.^(B)
Now the New Moon^(C) will devour them
along with their fields.^(D)

⁸Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah,^(E)
the trumpet in Ramah;^(F)
raise the war cry in Beth-aven:^(G)
Look behind you,^[a] Benjamin!^(H)
⁹Ephraim will become a desolation^(I)
on the day of punishment;^(J)
I announce what is certain
among the tribes of Israel.^(K)
