Hebrews 9:3-12
New King James Version
3 (A)and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, 4 which had the (B)golden censer and (C)the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were (D)the golden pot that had the manna, (E)Aaron’s rod that budded, and (F)the tablets of the covenant; 5 and (G)above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.
Limitations of the Earthly Service
6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, (H)the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. 7 But into the second part the high priest went alone (I)once a year, not without blood, which he offered for (J)himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance; 8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that (K)the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. 9 It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered (L)which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience— 10 concerned only with (M)foods and drinks, (N)various [a]washings, (O)and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.
The Heavenly Sanctuary
11 But Christ came as High Priest of (P)the good things [b]to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not (Q)with the blood of goats and calves, but (R)with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place (S)once for all, (T)having obtained eternal redemption.

Hebrews 2:14-18
New King James Version
14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He (A)Himself likewise shared in the same, (B)that through death He might destroy him who had the power of (C)death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who (D)through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not [a]give aid to angels, but He does [b]give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had (E)to be made like His brethren, that He might be (F)a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 (G)For in that He Himself has suffered, being [c]tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
