Genesis 9:3-5

³ “Everything that moves and lives shall be food for you. Just as the green herb, I have given you all things.

⁴ But, flesh with the life thereof — with the blood thereof — you shall not eat.

⁵ For I will surely require your blood, wherein are your lives. At the hands of every beast will I require it; and at the hand of man, at the hand of a man’s brother, will I require the life of man.
