Genesis 34:23-25
New English Translation
23 If we do so,[a] won’t their livestock, their property, and all their animals become ours? So let’s consent to their demand, so they will live among us.”
24 All the men who assembled at the city gate[b] agreed with[c] Hamor and his son Shechem. Every male who assembled at the city gate[d] was circumcised. 25 In three days, when they were still in pain, two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, each took his sword[e] and went to the unsuspecting city[f] and slaughtered every male.

New International Version
23 Won’t their livestock, their property and all their other animals become ours?(A) So let us agree to their terms, and they will settle among us.(B)”
24 All the men who went out of the city gate(C) agreed with Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male in the city was circumcised.
25 Three days later, while all of them were still in pain,(D) two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon(E) and Levi,(F) Dinah’s brothers, took their swords(G) and attacked the unsuspecting city,(H) killing every male.(I)
