Genesis 30:37
International Standard Version
37 Jacob took branches[a] from white poplar trees, freshly cut almond trees, and some other trees,[b] stripped off their bark to make white streaks, and uncovered the white part inside the branches.

37 Jacob, however, took fresh-cut branches from poplar, almond(A) and plane trees(B) and made white stripes on them by peeling the bark and exposing the white inner wood of the branches.(C)
