6 1 An exhortation to fear God, and keep his commandments, 5 Which is, to love him with all thine heart. 7 The same must be taught to the posterity. 16 Not to tempt God. 25 Righteousness is contained in the Law.
1 These now are the commandments, ordinances, and [a]laws, which the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest [b]fear the Lord thy God, and keep all his ordinances, and his commandments which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son all the days of thy life, even that thy days may be prolonged:
