Il canto di Mosè e dellʼAgnello
15 Poi vidi in cielo un altro grande prodigio: sette angeli incaricati di portare sulla terra gli ultimi sette flagelli. Dopo di che, si esauriva il furore di Dio. 2 Vidi come un mare di cristallo e di fuoco, su cui stavano in piedi tutti quelli che avevano vinto la battaglia contro il mostro, la sua statua e la cifra corrispondente al suo nome. 3 Tenevano in mano le arpe di Dio e cantavano il canto di Mosè, servo di Dio, e il canto dellʼAgnello:
«Grandi e meravigliose
sono le opere tue,
o Signore, Dio Onnipotente!
Giuste e vere
sono le tue vie, o Re delle nazioni!
4 Chi non ti temerebbe,
o Signore?
Chi non glorificherebbe il tuo nome?
Perché tu solo sei santo.
Tutti i popoli verranno
ad inchinarsi davanti a te,
perché le cose che hai fatto
si sono rivelate giuste agli occhi
di tutti».
5 Dopo di ciò, vidi aprirsi in cielo il Luogo Santissimo, 6 e dal santuario uscire i sette angeli che dovevano portare i sette flagelli. Erano vestiti di puro lino di un bianco splendente, e attorno al petto avevano una fascia dʼoro. 7 Una delle quattro creature viventi consegnò ai sette angeli sette calici dʼoro, pieni dellʼira di Dio, di Colui che vive in eterno. 8 Il santuario si riempì di fumo per la gloria e la potenza di Dio; e nessuno poteva entrare nel santuario, prima che fossero portati a termine i sette flagelli inflitti dai sette angeli.

Seven Angels With Seven Plagues
15 I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign:(A) seven angels(B) with the seven last plagues(C)—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed. 2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass(D) glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious(E) over the beast(F) and its image(G) and over the number of its name.(H) They held harps(I) given them by God 3 and sang the song of God’s servant(J) Moses(K) and of the Lamb:(L)
“Great and marvelous are your deeds,(M)
Lord God Almighty.(N)
Just and true are your ways,(O)
King of the nations.[a]
4 Who will not fear you, Lord,(P)
and bring glory to your name?(Q)
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
and worship before you,(R)
for your righteous acts(S) have been revealed.”[b]
5 After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple(T)—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law(U)—and it was opened.(V) 6 Out of the temple(W) came the seven angels with the seven plagues.(X) They were dressed in clean, shining linen(Y) and wore golden sashes around their chests.(Z) 7 Then one of the four living creatures(AA) gave to the seven angels(AB) seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.(AC) 8 And the temple was filled with smoke(AD) from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple(AE) until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
