²⁷ When the fourteenth night had come, as we were being driven across the Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors suspected that they were nearing land.

And ^(C)all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off

³⁰ And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, and had lowered ^(A)the ship's boat into the sea under pretense of laying out anchors from the bow,

⁶ So the captain came and said to him, “What do you mean, you sleeper? Arise, ^(A)call out to your god! ^(B)Perhaps the god will give a thought to us, that we may not perish.”
