⁴¹ She arose ^(A)and bowed with her face to the ground and said, “Behold, your maidservant is a maid ^(B)to wash the feet of my lord’s servants.”

^6 (A)Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, came to David and ^(B)fell on his face and prostrated himself. And David said, “Mephibosheth.” And he said, “Here is your servant!”

⁸ Again he prostrated himself and said, “What is your servant, that you should regard ^(A)a dead dog like me?”

²³ They told the king, saying, “Here is Nathan the prophet.” And when he came in before the king, he prostrated himself ^[a]before the king with his face to the ground.

³¹ Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the ground, and prostrated herself ^[a]before the king and said, “^(A)May my lord King David live forever.”

⁴⁷ Moreover, the king’s servants came to bless our lord King David, saying, ‘May ^(A)your God make the name of Solomon better than your name and his throne greater than your throne!’ And ^(B)the king bowed himself on the bed.
