⁴⁰ And they found abundant, rich pasture with and a wide, quiet and fruitful land. For the Hamites had dwelt there before.

⁴¹ And those described here by name came in the days of Hezekiah, king of Judah, and struck their tents, and the inhabitants who were found there, and destroyed them utterly to this day, and dwelt in their space, because there was pasture there for their sheep.

⁴² And besides these, five hundred men of the sons of Simeon went to Mount Seir. And Pelatiah and Neariah and Rephaiah and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi, were their captains.
