偶像和假先知必被滅絕

13 “到那日，必有一個泉源，為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民開放，洗除他們的罪惡和不潔。

²“到那日（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告），我必從這地除掉偶像的名號，它們不再被人記念；我也必從這地除去假先知和污穢的靈。 ³如果有人再說預言，他的親生父母必對他說：‘你不該活著，因為你奉耶和華的名說謊。’他說預言的時候，他的親生父母必把他刺死。

⁴“到那日，假先知說預言的時候，每一個都必因自己所論的異象而羞愧；他們必不再穿獸毛衣服欺騙人。 ⁵那時他必說：‘我不是先知，只是耕地的人；因為我自幼以來，就被賣為奴。’ ⁶如果有人問他：‘怎麼在你胸口上（“胸口上”原文作“兩手之間”）有這些傷痕呢？’他就必回答：‘這些是在愛我的人家裡所受的傷。’

擊打牧人的預言

⁷“刀劍哪，醒來吧！攻擊我的牧人，我的同伴，

（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告。）

要擊打牧人，羊群就分散；

我也要轉過手來，攻擊小羊。

⁸全地的人必有三分之二被除滅，

只有三分之一存留下來。

（這是耶和華的宣告。）

⁹我必使這三分之一經火試煉。

我要煉淨他們，像煉淨銀子一樣；

我要試煉他們，像試煉金子一樣。

他們必呼求我的名，我必應允他們。

我要說：‘他們是我的子民。’

他們也要說：‘耶和華是我們的　神。’”

The Message

Washing Away Sins

13 “On the Big Day, a fountain will be opened for the family of David and all the leaders of Jerusalem for washing away their sins, for scrubbing their stained and soiled lives clean.

^2-3“On the Big Day”—this is God-of-the-Angel-Armies speaking—“I will wipe out the store-bought gods, erase their names from memory. People will forget they ever heard of them. And I’ll get rid of the prophets who polluted the air with their diseased words. If anyone dares persist in spreading diseased, polluting words, his very own parents will step in and say, ‘That’s it! You’re finished! Your lies about God put everyone in danger,’ and then they’ll stab him to death in the very act of prophesying lies about God—his own parents, mind you!

^4-6“On the Big Day, the lying prophets will be publicly exposed and humiliated. Then they’ll wish they’d never swindled people with their ‘visions.’ No more masquerading in prophet clothes. But they’ll deny they’ve even heard of such things: ‘Me, a prophet? Not me. I’m a farmer—grew up on the farm.’ And if someone says, ‘And so where did you get that black eye?’ they’ll say, ‘I ran into a door at a friend’s house.’

    against my close associate!”
        Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.
“Kill the shepherd! Scatter the sheep!
    The back of my hand against even the lambs!
All across the country”—God’s Decree—
    “two-thirds will be devastated
    and one-third survive.
I’ll deliver the surviving third to the refinery fires.
    I’ll refine them as silver is refined,
    test them for purity as gold is tested.
Then they’ll pray to me by name
    and I’ll answer them personally.
I’ll say, ‘That’s my people.’
    They’ll say, ‘God—my God!’”

Idolatry Cut Off

13 “In that ^(A)day ^(B)a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for ^(C)uncleanness.

²“It shall be in that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “that I will ^(D)cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause ^(E)the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land. ³It shall come to pass that if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who begot him will say to him, ‘You shall ^(F)not live, because you have spoken lies in the name of the Lord.’ And his father and mother who begot him ^(G)shall thrust him through when he prophesies.

⁴“And it shall be in that day that ^(H)every prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; they will not wear ^(I)a robe of coarse hair to deceive. ⁵^(J)But he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.’ ⁶And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your ^[a]arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’

The Shepherd Savior

⁷“Awake, O sword, against ^(K)My Shepherd,
Against the Man ^(L)who is My Companion,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
^(M)“Strike the Shepherd,
And the sheep will be scattered;
Then I will turn My hand against ^(N)the little ones.
⁸And it shall come to pass in all the land,”
Says the Lord,
“That ^(O)two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
^(P)But one-third shall be left in it:
⁹I will bring the one-third ^(Q)through the fire,
Will ^(R)refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
^(S)They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
^(T)I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”
