Getting Started
In this section of the Bible Gateway, we offer a number of languages and translations of the Bible in audio form. In order to hear these audio files, you will need to have installed the latest RealAudio software. You can download a free version of this player at http://www.real.com. (Be sure to look for the free version.)
To use this site, simply select the translation, and file format of your choice. Select the book and chapter you want to listen to and click 'Play Audio'. In some cases, there are also links to play entire testaments at once. Simply click on the link of your choice, and if you have the proper RealAudio software installed, a player window should automatically appear, and begin to play your selection.
If you would like to read the text while listening to the reader, you can do that too. You can click on the image displayed on your audio player (The Bible Gateway logo, with the message "Click Here to view Text"), and you will be brought to a page displaying the text.
