That be far from Thee to do in this manner — to slay the righteous with the wicked; and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from Thee! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges to see whether he has put his hand unto his neighbor’s goods.

“Thou shalt not revile the judges, nor curse the ruler of thy people.

“‘Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. Thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty, but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.

and said to the judges, “Take heed what ye do; for ye judge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the matter of judgment.

O our God, wilt Thou not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us, neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon Thee.”

“And thou, Ezra, according to the wisdom of thy God that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges who may judge all the people who are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye those who know them not.

whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my Judge?

The earth is given into the hand of the wicked. He covereth the faces of the judges thereof. If not, where and who is He?

Arise, O Lord, let not man prevail; let the heathen be judged in Thy sight.

Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in mine integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.

Judge me, O Lord my God, according to Thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

But the Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
