23 But You, Lord, know
All their [a]deadly schemes against me;
(A)Do not [b]forgive their wrongdoing
Or wipe out their sin from Your sight.
But may they be [c](B)overthrown before You;
Deal with them in the (C)time of Your anger!
The Broken Jar
19 This is what the Lord says: “Go and buy a (D)potter’s earthenware (E)jar, and take some of the (F)elders of the people and some of the [d](G)senior priests. 2 Then go out to the (H)Valley of Ben-hinnom, which is by the entrance of the [e]Potsherd Gate, and (I)proclaim there the words that I tell you,
