Titus 2:7-3:8

New King James Version

⁷in all things showing yourself to be ^(A)a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, ^(B)incorruptibility,^[a] ⁸sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of ^[b]you.

⁹Exhort ^(C)bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, ¹⁰not ^[c]pilfering, but showing all good ^[d]fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

Trained by Saving Grace

¹¹For ^(D)the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, ¹²teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, ¹³^(E)looking for the blessed ^(F)hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, ¹⁴^(G)who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed ^(H)and purify for Himself ^(I)His own special people, zealous for good works.

¹⁵Speak these things, ^(J)exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Graces of the Heirs of Grace

3 Remind them ^(K)to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, ^(L)to be ready for every good work, ²to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. ³For ^(M)we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. ⁴But when ^(N)the kindness and the love of ^(O)God our Savior toward man appeared, ⁵^(P)not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through ^(Q)the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶^(R)whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷that having been justified by His grace ^(S)we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

⁸^(T)This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
