Zechariah 1:2-4

2 The Lord hath been [a]sore displeased with your fathers.
3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, [b]Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former (A)Prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Turn you now from your evil ways, and from your wicked works: but they would not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.

2 “The Lord was very angry(A) with your ancestors. 3 Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return(B) to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’(C) says the Lord Almighty. 4 Do not be like your ancestors,(D) to whom the earlier prophets(E) proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways(F) and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me,(G) declares the Lord.(H)
