Ruth 2:10-13
New Living Translation
10 Ruth fell at his feet and thanked him warmly. “What have I done to deserve such kindness?” she asked. “I am only a foreigner.”
11 “Yes, I know,” Boaz replied. “But I also know about everything you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers. 12 May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done.”
13 “I hope I continue to please you, sir,” she replied. “You have comforted me by speaking so kindly to me, even though I am not one of your workers.”

10 At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground.(A) She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me(B)—a foreigner?(C)”
11 Boaz replied, “I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law(D) since the death of your husband(E)—how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know(F) before.(G) 12 May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord,(H) the God of Israel,(I) under whose wings(J) you have come to take refuge.(K)”
13 “May I continue to find favor in your eyes,(L) my lord,” she said. “You have put me at ease by speaking kindly to your servant—though I do not have the standing of one of your servants.”

4 While she was there, Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters. “The Lord be with you!” he said.
“The Lord bless you!” the harvesters replied.
