Romans 7:2-3
New American Standard Bible
2 For (A)the married woman is bound by law to her [a]husband as long as he is alive; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law [b]concerning the husband. 3 So then, if while her husband is alive she [c]gives herself to another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress if she [d]gives herself to another man.

New International Version
2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him.(A) 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress.(B) But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.
