Psalm 69:14-18
New International Version

14 Rescue me from the mire,
    do not let me sink;
deliver me from those who hate me,
    from the deep waters.(A)
15 Do not let the floodwaters(B) engulf me
    or the depths swallow me up(C)
    or the pit close its mouth over me.(D)

16 Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love;(E)
    in your great mercy turn to me.
17 Do not hide your face(F) from your servant;
    answer me quickly,(G) for I am in trouble.(H)
18 Come near and rescue me;
    deliver(I) me because of my foes.

14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16 Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
