128 Canticum graduum. Saepe expugnaverunt me a juventute mea, dicat nunc Israel;
2 saepe expugnaverunt me a juventute mea: etenim non potuerunt mihi.
3 Supra dorsum meum fabricaverunt peccatores; prolongaverunt iniquitatem suam.
4 Dominus justus concidit cervices peccatorum.
5 Confundantur, et convertantur retrorsum omnes qui oderunt Sion.
6 Fiant sicut foenum tectorum, quod priusquam evellatur exaruit:
7 de quo non implevit manum suam qui metit, et sinum suum qui manipulos colligit.
8 Et non dixerunt qui praeteribant: Benedictio Domini super vos. Benediximus vobis in nomine Domini.

Psalm 128
A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,(A)
who walk in obedience to him.(B)
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;(C)
blessings and prosperity(D) will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine(E)
within your house;
your children(F) will be like olive shoots(G)
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing(H)
for the man who fears the Lord.(I)
