¹³ Rise up,^(A) Lord, confront them, bring them down;^(B)
    with your sword rescue me from the wicked.

²¹ Rescue me from the mouth of the lions;^(A)
    save me from the horns of the wild oxen.^(B)

    “Lord, save me!^(B)”

⁶ Listen to my cry,^(A)
    for I am in desperate need;^(B)
rescue me^(C) from those who pursue me,
    for they are too strong^(D) for me.

¹¹ deliver me;
    rescue me^(A) from the hands of foreigners^(B)
whose mouths are full of lies,^(C)
    whose right hands are deceitful.^(D)
