6 The Lord protects[a] the untrained;[b]
I was in serious trouble[c] and he delivered me.
7 Rest once more, my soul,[d]
for the Lord has vindicated you.[e]
8 Yes,[f] Lord,[g] you rescued my life from death,
kept my eyes from tears
and my feet from stumbling.
