Psalm 111:10-112

New International Version

¹⁰ The fear of the Lord^(A) is the beginning of wisdom;^(B)
    all who follow his precepts have good understanding.^(C)
    To him belongs eternal praise.^(D)

Blessed are those^(F) who fear the Lord,^(G)
    who find great delight^(H) in his commands.

² Their children^(I) will be mighty in the land;
    the generation of the upright will be blessed.
³ Wealth and riches^(J) are in their houses,
    and their righteousness endures^(K) forever.
⁴ Even in darkness light dawns^(L) for the upright,
    for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.^(M)
5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,^(N)
    who conduct their affairs with justice.

⁶ Surely the righteous will never be shaken;^(O)
    they will be remembered^(P) forever.
⁷ They will have no fear of bad news;
    their hearts are steadfast,^(Q) trusting in the Lord.^(R)
8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;^(S)
    in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.^(T)
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,^(U)
    their righteousness endures^(V) forever;
    their horn^[c] will be lifted^(W) high in honor.

¹⁰ The wicked will see^(X) and be vexed,
    they will gnash their teeth^(Y) and waste away;^(Z)
    the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.^(AA)
