(A)Hear, My people, and I will admonish you;
Israel, if you (B)would listen to Me!
There shall be no (C)strange god among you;
Nor shall you worship a foreign god.
10 (D)I, the Lord, am your God,
Who brought you up from the land of Egypt;
(E)Open your mouth wide and I will (F)fill it.

11 “But My people (G)did not listen to My voice,
And Israel did not [a]obey Me.
12 So I (H)gave [b]them over to the stubbornness of their heart,
To walk by their own plans.
13 Oh that My people (I)would listen to Me,
That Israel would (J)walk in My ways!
14 I would quickly (K)subdue their enemies
And (L)turn My hand against their adversaries.
15 (M)Those who hate the Lord would (N)pretend to obey Him,
And their time of punishment would be forever.
16 [c]But I would feed you with the [d](O)finest of the wheat,
And with (P)honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

10 I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

11 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

13 Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

15 The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
