12 Yet God is (A)my King from long ago,
Who performs acts of salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 [a]You (B)divided the sea by Your strength;
[b]You (C)broke the heads of the (D)sea monsters [c]in the waters.
14 [d]You crushed the heads of [e](E)Leviathan;
You gave him as food for the [f]creatures (F)of the wilderness.
15 [g]You (G)broke open springs and torrents;
[h]You (H)dried up ever-flowing streams.
16 Yours is the day, Yours also is the night;
[i]You have (I)prepared the [j]light and the sun.
17 [k]You have (J)established all the boundaries of the earth;
[l]You have [m]created (K)summer and winter.

    and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.(F)
15 It was you who opened up springs(G) and streams;
    you dried up(H) the ever-flowing rivers.
16 The day is yours, and yours also the night;
