the roaring of their waves,

New International Version

⁷who stilled the roaring of the seas,^(A)
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.^(B)

⁷Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

¹¹and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther,
and here shall your ^(A)proud waves be stayed’?

¹¹when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther;^(A)
here is where your proud waves halt’?^(B)

¹¹And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
