¹⁴ Deliver me^(A) from the guilt of bloodshed,^(B) O God,
    you who are God my Savior,^(C)
    and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.^(D)
15 Open my lips, Lord,^(E)
    and my mouth will declare your praise.
¹⁶ You do not delight in sacrifice,^(F) or I would bring it;
    you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
¹⁷ My sacrifice,^(G) O God, is^[a] a broken spirit;
    a broken and contrite heart^(H)
    you, God, will not despise.

¹⁸ May it please you to prosper Zion,^(I)
    to build up the walls of Jerusalem.^(J)
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,^(K)
    in burnt offerings^(L) offered whole;
    then bulls^(M) will be offered on your altar.
