18 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,(A)
    and their inheritance will endure forever.(B)
19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
    in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

20 But the wicked will perish:(C)
    Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field,
    they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.(D)

21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
    but the righteous give generously;(E)
22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land,
    but those he curses(F) will be destroyed.(G)

18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
