Psalm 35:13-15
New American Standard Bible
13 But as for me, (A)when they were sick, my (B)clothing was sackcloth;
I (C)humbled my soul with fasting,
But my (D)prayer kept returning to [a]me.
14 I went about as though it were my friend or brother;
I (E)bowed down [b]in mourning, like one who mourns for a mother.
15 But (F)at my [c]stumbling they rejoiced and gathered themselves together;
The [d](G)afflicted people whom I did not know gathered together against me,
They [e](H)slandered me without ceasing.

as though weeping for my mother.
