Psalm 24
The King of Glory
A Davidic psalm.
1 The earth and everything in it,
the world and its inhabitants,
belong to the Lord;(A)
2 for He laid its foundation on the seas
and established it on the rivers.(B)

6 The heavens were made by the word of the Lord,(A)
and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth.(B)
7 He gathers the waters of the sea into a heap;[a]
He puts the depths into storehouses.(C)

28 when He placed the skies above,
when the fountains of the ocean gushed out,
29 when He set a limit for the sea
so that the waters would not violate His command,(E)
when He laid out the foundations of the earth.(F)
