The Workers Are Few

³⁵ Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.^(A)

Jesus Drives Out an Impure Spirit^(A)

²¹ They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.^(B)

² When the Sabbath came,^(A) he began to teach in the synagogue,^(B) and many who heard him were amazed.^(C)

“Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing?

Divorce^(A)

10 Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan.^(B) Again crowds of people came to him, and as was his custom, he taught them.^(C)

¹⁵ He was teaching in their synagogues,^(A) and everyone praised him.

⁶ On another Sabbath^(A) he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled.

Jesus Heals a Crippled Woman on the Sabbath

¹⁰ On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,^(A)

⁵⁹ He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

²⁰ “I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus replied. “I always taught in synagogues^(A) or at the temple,^(B) where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret.^(C)
