Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,(A)
    who conduct their affairs with justice.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken;(B)
    they will be remembered(C) forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
    their hearts are steadfast,(D) trusting in the Lord.(E)
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;(F)
    in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.(G)
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,(H)
    their righteousness endures(I) forever;
    their horn[a] will be lifted(J) high in honor.

10 The wicked will see(K) and be vexed,
    they will gnash their teeth(L) and waste away;(M)
    the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.(N)
