They were hungry [c]and thirsty;
Their (C)souls felt weak within them.
Then they (D)cried out to the Lord in their trouble;
He saved them from their distresses.
He also had them walk on a [d](E)straight way,
To go to [e](F)an inhabited city.
(G)They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy,
And for His [f]wonders to the sons of mankind!
For He has (H)satisfied the [g]thirsty soul,
And He has filled the (I)hungry soul with what is good.
