25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

    teeming with creatures beyond number—
    living things both large and small.(B)
26 There the ships(C) go to and fro,
    and Leviathan,(D) which you formed to frolic(E) there.(F)

27 All creatures look to you
    to give them their food(G) at the proper time.
28 When you give it to them,
    they gather it up;
when you open your hand,
    they are satisfied(H) with good things.
29 When you hide your face,(I)
    they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
    they die and return to the dust.(J)
