¹⁷ I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;^(A)
    I will sing the praises^(B) of the name of the Lord Most High.^(C)

⁷ The Lord is my strength^(A) and my shield;
    my heart trusts^(B) in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,^(C)
    and with my song I praise him.^(D)

¹² that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
    Lord my God, I will praise^(A) you forever.^(B)

¹⁸ I will give you thanks in the great assembly;^(A)
    among the throngs^(B) I will praise you.^(C)

²⁸ You are my God, and I will praise you;
    you are my God,^(A) and I will exalt^(B) you.
